About Horsell Common
Horsell Common is many things:
-
It's a wonderful habitat for wildlife
-
a home to Bronze Age Barrows and to a former Muslim Burial Ground
-
It's the place that HG Wells' Martians landed
-
but most of all its Woking's green lung - one of the first substantial areas of countryside SW of London - 830 acres of green space, maintained for the benefit of all and for the conservation of the animals and plants that live here.
