Did you know? Common Facts . . .

Horsell Common is many things:

  • It's a wonderful habitat for wildlife
  • It's a home to Bronze Age Barrows and to a former Muslim Burial Ground
  • It's the place where HG Wells' Martians landed
  • However, most of all it's Woking's green space - one of the first substantial areas of countryside reached on leaving SW of London - 830 acres of green space, maintained for the benefit of all and for the conservation of the animals and plants that live here.
