Footpath Challenge Volunteer Working Parties 2011
Help us continue with this popular long running project at Woodham Common, Woking where we are building a 1.2km all-access circular footpath, with a free BBQ lunch for the hard workers! No experience necessary as all equipment & training is provided
Our exact location will be signposted from the new Woodham Common car park (just down from the six crossroads roundabout) and the Britannia Wharf car park - both on Monument Road, GU21 5LW.
This event happens
every first Saturday of the month.

Winter Conservation Volunteer Working Parties 2011/12
Join us on a Sunday morning for a healthy work-out with 3 hours of Scrub Bashing on heathland. All working parties will run from 10.00 to 13.00. The meeting place for this season's events will be in the Sandy Track car park, which is off the A245 at the junction of Shores Road and Kettlewell Hill. Sat Nav GU21 4YB. OS grid reference TQ 002604
The activity is to remove scrub, mainly small birch and pine saplings from areas of heathland. Loppers and bow saws will be provided; volunteers should wear sturdy footwear with good grip and a good pair of gardening gloves or similar.
